On 1 July the third stage of the Tour de France will pass through the town of Alessandria. The most important cycling race in the world passes through the lands of the legends related to France and to cycling from Napoleon to Marengo, remembering Fausto Coppi and «Alessandria bicycle city». For the first time, the 111th edition of the Tour de France will race on Italian roads and pay tribute to the great champions of the past, from Fausto Coppi to Gino Bartali and Marco Pantani, who contributed to making cycling great and solidified the great Italian passion for the bicycle.
