Schedule

Day 1

Arrive in the Medieval Village of Gavi for guided tour. Upon tour completion, transfer available for the guided tour of the Fort. Dinner and overnight in a local wine estate.

Day 2

Typical breakfast and transfer to Alessandria. Visit the Borsalino Museum and the felt hat which was born in Alessandria 166 years ago, discover its history through modern multimedia supports. Stop off at one of the Historical Pastry Shops to enjoy the delicious De.Co. branded specialties. Dinner in osteria with local dishes such as rabaton. Overnight in centrally-located hotel.

Day 3

Breakfast in hotel and departure by own means to Tortona, a town rich in history, where legend has it that the Knights Templar hid the Holy Graal in the thirteenth century. A visit to the Museum of Divisionismo, the locations of Pellizza da Volpedo, painter responsible for "Il Quarto Stato", and a visit to a local characteristic winery with tasting are highly recommended.
