Description
Immersed in the gently rolling hills of UNESCO Monferrato a weekend in search of his majesty the truffle.
Accompanied by our expert truffle hunters and their trusted "tabui" (truffle dog) among the forests and hazelnut groves you will enjoy a unique sensory experience which will be completed by a visit to a local winery, its infernot and wine tasting.
The legislation of the Piedmont Region allows "night-time hunting" of the truffle: in June-July-August (in the moonlight) evening outings are scheduled from 9 pm to midnight (in this case the itinerary will be modified)
No truffle hunting in May and from 1 to 21 September due to biological stop.
Schedule
Day 1
Truffle hunting and extraction, Unesco intangible cultural heritage since 2021, followed by tasting in winery.
Dinner in trattoria and overnight accommodation in B&B in Vignale Monferrato
Day 2
Free time to become familiar with Unesco Monferrato and the Infernot
