Anna Ghisolfi

The queen of catering and finger foods, Anna Ghisolfi, has found a home in a deconsecrated church in Tortona, where she serves her idea of taste in an eatery with open kitchen. Take a seat at the counter for the aperitif accompanied by a mix of finger foods, or at the tables to taste dishes skilfully prepared and presented, the perfect combination of her creative tenacity. Her husband Enrico serves an excellent selection of wines, mostly from the area of Tortona. Plenty of tastings, difficult to summarise. We will mention just a few that excited us, deferring the in-depth details to our full review: salad, grapes and Montebore ice cream, piglet in tuna sauce, potato dumplings and peppers, rice and pumpkin with drops of Passito, roasted shank, cod and red onion, hazelnut cake, strawberries with vanilla and yogurt. Of other occasions, we recall breaded anchovies, Montebore ice cream, pumpkin dumplings and game ragout; shank and red cabbage. Chocolate and pear Average prices: Starters €20; First courses €15; Main courses €25; Desserts €15 Aperitif with spumante and finger foods €20 (from 7.30 pm) Services; vegetarian menu; small pets allowed
