Barbera del M.to Superiore “Bricco Battista”, “Cima” and “Giulin” - Barbera del M.to “La Mattacchiona” - Grignolino del M.to Casalese “Bricco del Bosco” - Monferrato Freisa “La Bernardina” - Monferrato Rosso “Centenario” (barbera, cabernet and other grapes) - Malvasia di Casorzo “Brigantino” - Pico Giovanni Pastrone (ps - malvasia) Owners and winegrowers for four generations, the Accornero family continues with the same passion and commitment that drove the great-grandfather Bartolomeo, assisted by his son Giuseppe, to produce high quality wines. In 1897, following many years of hard work and savings the Cascina Ca’ Cima was purchased from the noble knight Negri. The generation continues with Giovanni Battista Angelo Accornero, son of Giuseppe, who married Alfonsina Coppo: their son, Giulio Accornero, is the current owner with his wife Mariuccia and their son Ermanno. Ca’ Cima, with a surface of 20 hectares devoted entirely to vine cultivation, is located in the municipality of Vignale Monferrato. The growing of vineyards is rigorously organic, without the use of chemical fertilisers and herbicides; the use of natural fertilisers and products that are not harmful for the environment give the soil natural phyto-sanitary protection, guaranteeing high product quality. The company's cellar, equipped with all the modern technology, remains faithful to the most traditional vinification processes, offering the excellent wines of Monferrato.
