MACELLERIA DA DAVIDE

To say “Da Davide” in Valle San Bartolomeo conjures up beef salami that is one of a kind, a characteristic specialty of the Alessandria plain: extraordinary in its simplicity, griddled or boiled. There are also steaks, strip steaks, cuts of Fassone beef, the excellent minced meat to eat raw, the top blade, boiled meats, and head to enjoy with the bagnet (parsley, garlic and anchovy sauce). There is also no shortage of classic raw salami or salami flavoured with Gavi or Barolo together with an excellent choice of wines, always selected by Davide Ballestrero (he is also an expert ONAV wine connoisseur…)
