Parrocchia di Santa Maria Assunta

Built between 1490 and 1512, the Church of Santa Maria Assunta retains the late-Gothic tripartite façade of the original structure, topped with small arches and with a rose window surrounded by a frame with eight concentric bands of terracotta tiles. The main body, the sides of the church and the high cusped bell tower are 19th-century neo-Gothic reconstructions. Inside, in addition to the large panel paintings of the Stations of the Cross dated 1883, an early work by the Piedmontese painter Paolo Gaidano, there is also the Polyptych of the Holy Rosary by Antonio Oliva dating from the 16th century, composed of 15 wood panels. The niche at the back of the wooden choir is home to a contemporary white marble statue of St. Mary of the Assumption.
