Sapori Nostrani

Cossòt are green courgettes with white streaks, which obtained De.Co. recognition in 2010, cultivated particularly in in the area of Dusino and Villanova. On his farm, Giorgio Turco also uses them to make ready-made dishes like the sweet-and-sour mixed pickles, the grilled cossòt and those ‘al brusch’ (marinated with oil and white wine vinegar).
